Abu Dhabi Media Revamps Content And Rebrands Television Channels

 As a major fan of Arabic-language television, it is nearly impossible not to be familiar with Abu Dhabi Media. This UAE entertainment group is one of the leading broadcasters throughout the Middle East and the group has revamped their platform to better suit current customers. In March of 2015, Abu Dhabi Media announced their intention to expand their content, while also rebranding the Al Emarat Channel and the Abu Dhabi Channel.

Managing director of ADM, Mohamed Ebraheem Al Mahmood, admitted that the maneuver was forced, due to the fast paced nature of the media industry. He also confirmed that the changes were brought about in an effort to better reflect the dramatic development of Abu Dhabi. Mahmood also revealed that the new programs and initiatives were designed to support the evolution of the entertainment and media industry within the UAE.

With the upcoming changes, the group will now offer two entertainment channels, a drama channels and seven sporting channels. They also broadcast a specialized racing channel and a documentary based channel. Aside from the aforementioned renovations, ADM has also constructed over 320 additional hours of drama content. The changes come just four weeks after ADM launched the Yas channel. The Al Emarat channel will provide cultural entertainment and educational shows. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Channel will highlight the best of the nearby region, while showcasing landmarks, heritage and local culture.

Big changes are coming to ADM and consumers throughout the area should be excited. ADM strives to provide consumers with relevant, entertaining content, as well as broadcasts of the world’s major sporting events.
