The Best Pakistan Films That Aren’t Available On Netflix
If you’re an entertainment junkie, who can’t watch enough movies, you’ve likely heard that Netflix has finally made its way to Pakistan. Initially, you’d think this would be a wonderful thing! Sure, in a way, it is. However, the service is actually lacking in terms of Pakistani content. In fact, there is an abundance of amazing Pakistani flicks, which are missing from the service’s offerings. First and foremost, Netflix should do their best to acquire the rights to Anima State! This film has quickly become one of the most talked about Pakistani movies in a long time!
The film follows a masked man, who heads out on a killing spree. Unfortunately, nobody seems to care about the bloody trail he has left behind, until he agrees to finish himself on live television. The film is a must see and Netflix needs to offer it! Another thriller out of Pakistan is Zibahkhana. This film follows the exploits of a group of teenagers, who find themselves stranded near the outskirts of Lahore. The film quickly transforms into a slasher flick, which closely resembles the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Netflix is doing itself a disservice, by not offering this amazing flick.
Truly, there are plenty of films that Netflix needs to pickup and add to its service. Waar, Shoaib Mansoor, and some of Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s documentaries would be wonderful additions to the service. Netflix is definitely affordable, but the lack of these movies makes it much more likely consumers will switch to torrenting. Until Netflix adds these films to their packages, it might be best to hold off and save your money!
